How MajorcaDirect Works
A simple guide for Travellers and Property Owners.
1. Getting Started
Whether you are a holiday rental owner or a traveller, creating an account is the first step to your Mallorca experience.
- Click Sign Up at the top right of the page.
- Enter your name, email, and password.
- Check your email: Click the link in the confirmation email to activate your account.
Click Sign up with Facebook or Google + to link your existing social profile and sign in instantly.
2. For Travellers: Searching & Booking
Your traveller account is your hub for searching, saving, and managing your holiday bookings.
Managing Your Journey (The "My Trips" Page)
Track the status of your reservation requests in real-time:
- PENDING: Your request has been sent; the owner is reviewing it.
- ACCEPTED: The owner has approved your request; payment is being processed.
- CONFIRMED: Payment is complete. Your booking is 100% secure.
- DECLINED: The owner was unable to accept the reservation.
3. For Owners & Property Managers
List your villas, fincas, or apart-hotels with MajorcaDirect. Exposure is global, and listing is free—we only charge a commission on completed bookings.
Calendar Sync (iCal)
Prevent double-bookings by syncing your MajorcaDirect calendar with Google, Airbnb, or VRBO.
- Go to My Listing and Calendar.
- Select Availability Settings > Sync Calendars.
- Select Import Calendar and paste your iCal URL.
4. Secure Payments & Fairness Gauge Refunds
The 48-Hour Booking Made Guarantee
All reservations include a 48-hour Grace Period from the moment the Booking is Made. Cancel for any reason within this window for a 100% refund (if check-in is >14 days away).
Deadlines are calculated based on your scheduled Check-in Date.

If you cancel within a non-refundable period, we re-list the property. If we successfully re-book your dates, we refund you the amount recovered (less a small admin fee).
